This knife is from a well-trusted kitchen appliance brand, so we had high expectations before our tests.
Cutting performance was good. Slices were clean and uniform, and it performed well with slicing meat as opposed to pulling it.
We did find that it required some more pressure than the other knives in order to start the slicing process, however. The blades felt slightly flimsy and wobbled before making contact with the food. This made them feel a bit insecure, but there were no incidents of them coming unattached.
It worked with softer items better than hard ones, but still coped with tougher bread and meats. Just apply a little more pressure and concentration. It comes in at a good low price, and the power button is nice and easy to access and hold so if this is priority it is a good choice.
