Offering a pretty instant relaxing experience, this Rio spa is incredibly easy to set up and all pretty self-explanatory.
It offers quite an indulgence for your feet. Reflexology rollers help to massage the key pressure points on the sole, and it was one of the most effective at this. Some others seemed to either be a bit too strong and uncomfortable.
In addition to this, there are gentle vibrations from the hydrotherapy jets which will soothe muscles, tendons and ligaments to leave you feeling revived. This bubbling water is heated, so while the jets are going, the contents can stay warm for a relaxing atmosphere. Thermally insulated walls can help, too.
The four settings are massage only, heat only, heat and massage, heat and bubbles. There is the option to play around with these and get the feeling that is right for you, and there is nothing to stop you switching between them all for the duration of your soak.
A cable storage device will keep everything neat and tidy when it isn’t in use, and there is also a carry handle which makes moving it much easier. This is a welcome addition, as it is rather heavy to carry.
The heaviness makes it incredibly sturdy, however. There are no additional attachments, like with a lot of other models, but for the power and relaxation you get, this is easily forgiven and forgotten – especially as seeing the price is not excessive.
