Beurer FB30 Collapsible Footspa

If storage is an issue, or if you want to be able to take the spa around the house with you, then a collapsible model is ideal.

This one is the most substantial we have reviewed. To say it is collapsible, it is still sturdy when it is in use, so there is little risk of it giving way when full of water. Adjust it to the depth you desire, then fold it down flat and store it in your drawer or under the bed.

Despite this, it is quite deep compared to a lot of the other models on the market, which is great if you want to completely cover your feet. You can add any essential oils or salts you’d like, as it won’t affect the running of the machine, so a splash of lavender will do a world of good.

There are three functions – water temperature control, vibration massage and bubble massage – so depending on your particular needs, the bath can be put to optimum use. Use them for a maximum of 40 minutes for optimum results.

Infrared light dots work with the water to help boost circulation and stimulate reflex zones, which is great if your legs are tired as well as your feet. A pedicure attachment can help buff the skin on the bottom of the feet and remove any calluses.

The bubbles aren’t overly powerful, but they helped to keep the water circulating and mixed, so the entire bath is warm enough for use. As well, the spikes on the bottom of the spa are quite prominent, but we found we soon got used to these and adjusted well.
